Kick Start with Parent
August 6-7, 2021
Dean: Manda Miller
Kick Start Camp is for campers going into 2nd and 3rd grade who are not quite ready for the solo camp experience offered at Camp 23. This unique weekend getaway is designed to introduce these campers to Christian camping in a comfortable environment. They will explore the wonder of God’s story through storytelling, games, crafts, devotion time together, and a whole lot of fun! Campers will attend this overnight camp with a parent (or guardian) in order to gain more confidence in the camping experience and hopefully prepare them to come by themselves in the future.
Kick Start check-in will be from 5-6 P.M. on Friday and the program will begin with dinner at 6 P.M. Camp will end on Saturday at 4 P.M.
PLEASE NOTE: We have room for parent/child combos (dad/son; dad/daughter; mom/son; mom/daughter), but WE DO NOT HAVE FAMILY STYLE ROOMS FOR THIS SESSION (mom & dad plus camper). You may still register and come as a family combo, but you will not be housed together.
We are continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will make changes as necessary. Until such a time as we feel it is safe to lift all restrictions, we will continue to operate using the policies and procedures we used for 2020.
Please note that because of the fluid nature of this situation, some or all of these policies may be changed, removed, or added to as circumstances require. We will be in a state of constant evaluation over all of these policies and adjust them as necessary. Additionally, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel any sessions that are deemed to be unsafe due to this virus.
