Girl  vs. Wild takes place in our wilderness camp at High Hill which is located in the nearby woods and features rustic bunkhouses and a shelter house for meals. At Girl vs. Wild, 6th-8th grade girls will get to face the wild by building fires, using compasses, shooting bows, doing crafts, catching and preparing their own food, and so much more. They will spend time in God’s word, learning about Him, as well as applying God’s word in creative and unique ways. These campers will face the wild and win!!

Registration will be from 4-5 P.M. on THURSDAY.  At 5:00, the campers will make their way down to the wilderness camp with the dean.  Parents are more than welcome to stay until this time and go down to the campsite with their camper to help them get moved into their cabin.  Camp will end SATURDAY at 11 A.M. with pick up at the playground area.

Beginning this summer, we will be implementing a NO CELL PHONE policy for all camp sessions.

We know this may not be an issue for this particular age group, but as cell phones are becoming more prevalent for all ages, we wanted to make sure that you understand our new policy.  We are aware that for some families, this may not be a welcome change, but it will enhance the camp experience for your child.  Cell phones have become a huge distraction for kids of all ages, and we would love for camp to be a place to escape some of that. We do ask that you send an actual paper Bible with your camper (we will also have some available for use at camp).  If you need to contact your child while at camp, you may call us and we will relay the message and, if necessary, have them call you back on the camp phone.

Please note that we WILL BE enforcing this policy as a camp.

We have your child’s best interest in mind and ask for no phones because we do believe it’s the most effective way for them to escape the world while at camp.  If you have specific questions or concerns about this topic, please feel free to contact us at [email protected]
