PLEASE NOTE BEFORE APPLYING:

Your day to day duties will vary based on which position you are hired for.  However, please be aware that the positions that we hire for are the main duty of the employee, but camp is always an “all hands on deck” job.  All positions will be expected to assist with meals, cleaning, and other various duties such as serving in the canteen.  Main jobs only consist of about a quarter to half of your time on staff and the rest is made up of other assigned tasks, as generally outlined below.

  • **Our lifeguards will be trained onsite before camp starts—you do NOT have to be certified to apply** Enjoy time out in the sun and getting to know campers at our pool, blob, zipline, and waterslide. Our lifeguards oversee all of our water activities to make sure campers have a blast while being safe. Lifeguards will also help in other areas such as the kitchen/dining room and will help with daily cabin checks.

  • Can apply for the entire summer or limited sessions.

**Must have certification to distribute medications** Nursing students are strongly encouraged to apply. Must be willing to be generally available (within reason) 24 hours a day during camp. Responsible for intake of meds and medical forms on registration day, daily distribution of meds to campers, and first aid. Can apply for the entire summer or limited sessions. Private room/quarters will be provided.

  • A job with a little less stress—working in our kitchen as a helper and a dishwasher means that you get to have fun working at camp without having to shoulder a lot of the responsibilities of other positions. Our kitchen workers also help out in the canteen and with registration.

  • General duties will include staying in dorms/cabins for the duration of the sessions assigned, being the responsible adult/mentor/faculty in that setting. You will have one other adult in your room with whom you will be serving. Cabin faculty is responsible for leading their family group, making sure campers are where they are supposed to be at all times and following rules, and for mentoring spiritual growth throughout the session.

**This position REQUIRES at least one full year of college OR be over 21 years old. Preference will be given to those who have previously worked at a camp. Applicants who have volunteered at a camp will be considered, but merit must be substantiated.**

  • Help our director oversee our new Camp Ministry Center by running either sound, lights, or ProPresenter for our sessions of camp. You will work closely with our bands to make sure worship is consistently a quality production. During non-worship times, you will gather video and put together promo materials for the camp, and bumper, recap and hype videos. You will be responsible for the oversight and cleaning of the CMC during and after each session of camp.

  • Assist our head cook during breakfast and supper meal times as well as take responsibility for lunch daily. We feed roughly 300 people a day split into two shifts - your main responsibility is to make sure food service goes smoothly, and quality food is produced.
