Your day to day duties will vary based on which position you are hired for. However, please be aware that the positions that we hire for are the main duty of the employee, but camp is always an “all hands on deck” job. All positions will be expected to assist with meals, cleaning, and other various duties such as serving in the canteen. Main jobs only consist of about a quarter to half of your time on staff and the rest is made up of other assigned tasks, as generally outlined below.
**Our lifeguards will be trained onsite before camp starts—you do NOT have to be certified to apply** Enjoy time out in the sun and getting to know campers at our pool, blob, zipline, and waterslide. Our lifeguards oversee all of our water activities to make sure campers have a blast while being safe. Lifeguards will also help in other areas such as the kitchen/dining room and will help with daily cabin checks.
This is a great position for anyone who is interested in pursuing camp or youth ministry. This internship will include office work, coordinating the canteen, overseeing inventory, helping out with photo/video promotion on various social media platforms, coordinating and executing all outdoor activities with our deans, and being involved with the day to day operations of camp management.**This position REQUIRES previous camp experience. Preference will be given to those who have previously worked at a camp. Applicants who have volunteered at a camp will be considered, but merit must be substantiated.**
Can apply for the entire summer or limited sessions.**Must have certification to distribute medications** Nursing students are strongly encouraged to apply. Private room/quarters will be provided if desired.
Responsible to the facilities manager for general assignments and duties on a daily basis. Must be male for this position as he will work in close and most often one-on-one situations with our facilities and maintenance managers. Our maintenance staff works together to make sure our campus is always presentable to our campers, parents, faculty, and staff. You’ll help maintain our grounds, equipment, and keep up with trash. In addition to these tasks, you’ll work with our summer intern to coordinate recreation times and equipment for our programming.

A job with a little less stress—working in our kitchen as a helper and a dishwasher means that you get to have fun working at camp without having to shoulder a lot of the responsibilities of other positions. Our kitchen workers also help out in the canteen and with registration.
General duties will include staying in dorms/cabins for the duration of the sessions assigned, being the responsible adult/mentor/faculty in that setting. You will have one other adult in your room with whom you will be serving. Cabin faculty is responsible for leading their family group, making sure campers are where they are supposed to be at all times and following rules, and for mentoring spiritual growth throughout the session.**This position REQUIRES at least one full year of college OR be over 21 years old.
